Throughout this annotated bibliography, I present and evaluate several sources on the viability of artificial intelligence in the music industry. In my research journey on this topic, I have read and evaluated journal articles, magazine articles, webpages, United States' legislation, and even listened to podcasts. Through my analysis of these sources, I have formulated a thesis and decided on a direction for my accompanying research paper. Evaluating this many sources was a thorough endeavor, especially since not all the research I did was suitable for citation in an academic context.

Following the annotated bibliography, I created a proposal to outline the direction of my research, as well as receive approval on the direction I plan to take it. this proposal showcases some of the sources I plan to use, as well as my methodology throughout the research process. I have never had to write a proposal this extensive before, so it was new to me, but I believe that I have formatted it appropriately to clearly indicate the research I intend to write about.
